Munusamyreddie Reddie s/o Sinnappan. My nickname is David or
Reddie. Most people call me David. I was born on 2.5.1953 in a small
town call
Parit Buntar,Kerian
in Perak state in Malaysia. My house address is 59, Jalan Bangau 2,
Taman Minamah, Nibong Tebal, P.W.S, Penang. It's about 45km from Penang
Island. I am working in a electrical company for Tenaga Nasional Berhad.
One of the main power suppliers in Malaysia. Before that I worked as a
Science lab attendant in Gurun Secondary School in Kedah, by luck I got
the job. I was educated in Methodist English school Parit Buntar Perak.
I never studied properly because of to much playing and had very bad
results on my exams. After 9 years in school I quit. That was 37 years
ago. But now I have improved my English and speak Malay, English, Tamil
and Chinese. I was born with 5 brothers and 6 sisters. And I have 8
children, ages from 8 to 28 years old. As my children grew older I needed more money so I started a part time business. I started a Factory Workers Transport Service, subcontracted work for various companies and lastly managed a Quail Farm. I spend about 15 years working day and night to make some money. Not big money. Now I quit every thing and I am enjoying my travel with my foreign cycle tourist friends. Now I have a home stay guesthouse for cyclists and make cyclist friends from all over the world. See Past Visiting Cyclists started cycling at the age of 51. Not for travel but for exercises. My medical report was bad I have high sugar in urine, high uric acids, high cholesterol and had 3 blocks in my heart. I had cleared 2 blocks by surgery in 2001. My interest in cycling came when I met a Korean cyclist in front of my house in Parit Buntar. He was hungry so I got him something to eat. He told me he cycled from the Thailand border to Parit Buntar (200 kilometers) without food. He looked like a profession cyclist, latter he told me he had participated in the Tour de Langkawi professional cycling race. I gave him food and listened to his stories. He stayed in my house for three days, I took him to meet my friends, around my place and the Island in Penang. From that day on any foreign cyclist I meet on the road I will talk to them and invite them to my house.
