How I met him.
It was 1.00pm on 12-7-2007, One of my spies saw him in Bagan Serai, Perak. 100km Buterworth-Ipoh Road No.1. I manage stop him in Misjid Tinggi around 8km from Bagan Serai Town. So we sat at a shop for a drink. We eat some bread with coconut butter. We disgust about our travel and people we met on road. Most of the time he camp outdoors. He is carrying 70kg of things on his bike. He is heading to Ipoh. He had very good experiences with bicycle touring. Sometime thing are funny but it's real, he told me he met some Japanese boys age 20 to 21. And he feel he is old. When he meets me he feel younger because I am 55 years old. He is very strong and healthy guy can cycle about 100km to 130 per day. He doesn't have much time to stay with me for a day or two cause he has to meet some friends from Germany in Kuala Lumpur. At least he spend 2 hours taking with me. I am happy meeting him. What I want to remind cycle tourist, Please stop for a while and talk if someone stop you on road.
For sure he has something to ask or tell you. I have many bad experiences from cyclist on road, like never stop showing their anger face. Any thing wrong in giving a smile.  Answering like Why do you want to know where I am from?. Any thing wrong telling from which country you are from. I know they are tried but stop and rest. Remind your self you are in new World. Words like this should not use by travelers.

In a short while we became in Friends

A sad smile before living to Ipoh
